The Client Experience: What To Expect
Here at A Shadow Of The Past Photography I want your experience to be just that, an experience! From start to finish my goal is to tell your story in a beautiful array of images. I want to capture what makes you, you and get to know you during that process. When you inquire about a session I will send you a questionnaire full of fun questions to help me get to know you better.
Stuck on what to wear? Don't stress! We will go over color palettes, styles, and even pick out some great options to wear. We can work with what you have on hand or build new outfits sure to impress.
Your session day will be full of games, smiles and laughter. No stiff poses here! The best way to capture authenticity and raw emotion is to just let loose and have a great time! This is your story, let me help you tell it.
How It Works
Step 1: Contact Me!
There's no better way to get started than to reach out! We can discuss your vision for your session, possible dates, and locations! I would love to chat over a cup of coffee, or just message back and forth! Whatever is easier and comfortable for you!
Step 2: Questionnaires & Styling Consultations
After we have gone over the basics and the overall vision for your session I will send over a fun little questionnaire! It helps me to get to know you better. I use your answers to create a unique experience specifically for YOU. I want to tell your story and the only way to do that is to get to know you personally!
Up next would be your styling consultation. Not sure what to wear or overwhelmed by the options? No stress! I will gladly share my tips and tricks for the best outfits to photograph, and go over color palettes and patterns that will compliment our environment and look stunning on you!
Step 3: Time To Book!
We've decided on outfits and picked the perfect location! The time has been all sorted out and we are feeling confident in our plans! The next step is just some of the basic check list items we need to complete before we shoot! In this phase you will sign your contact, pay your retainer fee, and receive your booking confirmation. From here it's go time!
Step 4: Photoshoot & Delivery
The day of your session will be a fantastic one! We will play games, explore the area, and just have a fun time. No pressure to smile or stand perfectly posed. Today is about just being yourself and making memories!
